Hello Everyone,
Welcome to our first update.
So, firstly a big thanks to everyone who has offered support, shared their stories and signed up to our mailing list. We are surprised and overwhelmed at the level of support. We now have dozens of email subscribers and the website has received over 400 visitors since going live. Every day the site is visited by around 30 people many of whom are sharing their stories with us. If you have a story you would like to share with us (privately and confidentially) please go to the “Your Say” page (click here).
A common theme in your feedback is a concern over remaining anonymous. Many have expressed worry that if they are known to support us that their game seats may be at risk. We understand this concern and, in fact, integrity of game day ticketing is one of our top priorities to change. We will address this by having very clear rules around how ticketing works, who is entitled to tickets and how seating allocations are to be done. Fairness and transparency is what we are all about.
In the meantime, please be assured that only members of our organising committee have access to your information, and we promise we will not disclose it.
You will see below that you have the opportunity to comment on these updates. Feel free to do so. Please note that the contact information you give will be public on the post. Feel free to post as “Anonymous” with a bogus email address. If you are happy to use your real details, great.
Anyway, that’s it for now. Hope to see you at the game on Saturday night. It’s winnable :-)
Things need to change.
I have always loved being in the offical Richmond cheer squad as it made you feel that you were doing something positive for the club other than being just a supporter and it gave me great and personal achievement helping build the banner every week for the boys to run thru .
I have always got on well with everyone and have always respected what the committee has decided and have loved the way they have always done there jobs as it’s a hard and tiresome job at times up until recently to find out that we have lost our dear friends and banner buddy to horrible back stabbing and false rumours which needs to stop now which all parties involved needs to sit down with the club and work these things out asap as I would like to see my Richmond family back together again so we can all concentrate on getting the tiges back to where they should be again , back on top .
